I am Oma….& I Love It!!

6:00 a.m & I am waiting for granddarling #7, Miss Alyssa Rose, to arrive for the day! (Where is my coffee?!☕)

If you know me, you know that I am not a morning person. However…spending time with our granddarlings is one of the biggest joys of my life!

We wear many hats in life. I am a child of God, a wife, mother &…Oma!!

This morning my Oma hat is & she’s here! Our mini Boehnke princess is almost 3 years old; & she keeps Oma on her toes. Her 1st question after her daddy left for work?? “Where is my Micah Boehnke??!” She always refers to her brothers by their full names…hilarious!😂😂😂

Granddarling #6…Micah Alexander

 

Micah is the latest gem in Opa & Oma’s treasure chest of granddarlings.

He entered our lives on March 18^th of this year. His proud parents are Tim & Lauren, and he has a big brother, Joshua!

Micah is such a sweetie! He looks almost exactly like his brother, but already has his own little unique personality.

When we received the call letting us know his Mommy was in labor, we drove over to pick up Joshie. We had the joy of keeping Joshie with us for the first few days of Micah’s entrance into our family.

Micah loves it when you talk to him…and of course he likes to talk to you! He gets the sweetest smile on his face when you talk to him. He loves it when his big brother wants to play, and bounces Micah’s chair up and down.

Lauren’s maternity leave is almost over. Then we will have the pleasure of having Micah with us two days a week. I am looking forward to this time of bonding and watching him as he grows!
